Our Stance on Pets
Our view is that everything on EcoBees has to be for free i.e. there can be no profiteering or conflicts of interest where pets are concerned and the givers of pets have every opportunity to vet the people that have requested their pet before deciding who to give their pet to or even if they still want to give their pet. The way EcoBees works invariably means that any pets that are given would be given locally which makes arrangement for checkups / visits easy if required.
We took the decision to extend the service to pets as it is quite legitimate that people may find themselves in a situation where they are no longer able (perhaps physically or financially) to look after their loved pet and so want to see their pet given (for free) to a new, loving and local home. EcoBees would rather see animals re-homed than destroyed or dumped in the wild and left to fend for themselves. While you may disagree we hope you understand our stance a little better and that we are only trying to do (what we consider to be) the right thing with a community of caring people.

Wanted - Free Carrier for Two Cats

Bluey the Budgie - Male - about a year old.
Come with cage and toys. Could possibly be taught to speak but needs the time. He likes chirping to the tv - and is completely fine with my overly curious cats!

Wanted - Free Outdoor cat kennel
Please has anyone got an unwanted outdoor cat kennel in good condition? A cat whose owner has died seems to have adopted me but I really cannot have her indoors at night but don't like to see her exposed to the elements. 20 mile radius or thereabouts. Thank you very much.

Wanted - Free Old bedding or blankets for an old dog
Hello there. We have an elderly Collie dog who needs a regular change of bedding. We would be very grateful for any CLEAN unwanted bedding that we can use for his bed. Obviously we wouldn't want to waste something that could be used for someone's bedroom, but Frankie isn't too fussy about how his blanket or quilt looks as long as it's clean. i have 2 ridgebacks free to good home, through no fault of there own these 2 dogs have to go as i have been left on my own and cannot afford to keep them, also i have become ill, they are 1 bitch who has been spayed and she is 8 years old good temperment easy going eat anything given to her, but she has not been brought up with children so there a no no, 1 male he is 10 years old same as her easy

We have a lovely and really lonely 2 year old female bunny. She is very loved and friendly, she recently lost her mother/companion through old age and she now looks quite dejected and lonely.
